Dear Margaret I must say a Big “thank you” for your delightful playing for Wednesday Focus yesterday. It was a really super morning and so many of the ladies have said so. It was just what I personally need, a lovely relaxed time listening to your rendition of so many different kinds of music, all of them such a joy. For me your opening number “ Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring” was particularly soothing, and took me back to my wedding day 54 years ago. Now doesn't that make me sound decrepit; I was a child bride of course! It was a special moment for me to hear the lady on my left, 97 years young, singing along softly and in tune with a clear gentle voice, along to your playing. She was so enjoying herself. So thank you from all of us. I hope your journey to your next concert went smoothly and I'm sure they will have been as delighted as we were.
